Recap: after Hananosuke and Suzuki go back to Oushu to they propose an alliance with Date Masamune to ally with the Takeda. Masamune learns that Hananosuke has been made a general of the Takeda and has already fought Oda Nobunaga once with only 500 soldiers against Nubunaga's 23,000 and has already won. After agreeing to the alliance Masamune and his army march to Kai to officially agree to the alliance. Shortly after arriving back at Kai, Sanada Yukimura arrives with news regarding the Uesugi saying that Lord Kenshin will not agree to an alliance. Recap: Hananosuke and Suzuki travel to Uesugi Kenshin's castle posing as musicians. Kenshin's ninja, Kasuga, reports back to him about the Date and Takeda allying together. Kasuga reports to Kenshin that Fuuko Hananosuke (known to Kenshin to be a female musician) is actually Shingen's general who has been sent to form an alliance with him to combat Oda Nubunaga after Sanada Yukimura and his men failed to form the alliance. Hananosuke then appologizes to Kenshin about lying to him about being a musician. Recap: Hananosuke and Suzuki return with the Uesugi army at their back and Uesugi Kenshin riding along side them. Soon after arriving Hananosuke and Suzuki decide to hold a huge banquet with everyone in order to celebrate the new alliance. Hananosuke, Shingen, Masamune, Kojuro, and Kenshin soon enter a drinking contest against each other with Hananosuke coming out as the winner by a landslide!
